The BP99 Base Prep warm is a soft wax with a low melting point. It is recommended to apply it as the first wax on all new skis to get the base used to the hot iron.

The temperature in the hot box should never be higher than 55°C. Higher temperatures than 55°C in the hot box can lead to delamination of the base.
