The Atomic Backland 85 is a very light and versatile ski for touring.

The Carbon Backbone ensures even less weight: it runs through the ski from front to back like a backbone and gives it a lot of agility and reliable edge grip on the way down. In addition, there is a special shape under the binding that makes the climb easier, especially on long traverses. Thanks to the All Mountain Rocker and HRZN Tech on the ski tip, the ski has sensational floatation in powder and ploughs effortlessly through packed and broken snow with less bounce in the shovel. The cut-out at the tip of the ski makes it quick and easy to attach and remove Atomic’s PreFit skins.

Skins: These are high quality PreFit skins for each ski in Atomic Backland 85 series, so there’s no additional trimming required. They’re made from a 70% Mohair mix for a really strong grip as you climb, and they’re very durable and long lasting with hotmelt glue.
